Dragon's Lair is an adaptation of the original Dragon's Lair game for the 16-bit home computers such as DOS PCs, Macintosh, Amiga and Atari ST. It was developed by Sullivan Bluth Interactive Media, Inc. and released in 1989.
Some versions, like for the Amiga, were released by Readysoft. The Amiga version was contained in 6 disks.
Story and levelsEdit
The concept and gameplay is almost identical to that of the original arcade, but because of the limitations of the system, the adaptation was very minimalistic compared to the original.
It contained only 12 levels, not counting the reversed levels. It was followed by a pseudo-sequel/expansion, Dragon's Lair: Escape from Singe's Castle, which incorporated more levels of the original arcade. It was also followed by a proper sequel, Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp
